The Underwater Galaxy

Dreaming of a place you have never seen before and then realizing that the place actually exists? The pelagic world - the childhood home of marine life - is a place where I find very fascinating. Tiny zooplankton and fish larva drifting in the open ocean form the base of the ocean food web, which further supports marine ecosystems. I choose to spend most dive time in the spectacular black night sea offshore and searching for tiny critters, because I’d never find a place more diverse than it. Animal life that comes up at night is mind boggling, but man knows more about the moon than we do about our oceans. This motivates me to voluntarily jump into the pitch black water with respect for nature.
