Vandaag, 18 september 2021, zou Hans Vermeulen zijn 74e verjaardag hebben gevierd. Daarom herdenken wij hem hier met deze fantastische opname, samen met Anita Meyer, Dianne Marchall en Martha Pendleton. English: Rainbow Train was a Dutch band that was founded in 1975 by Hans Vermeulen after the breakup of his group Sandy Coast. Initially it was an occasional formation, but the group would also do a lot of background and studio work. They accompanied Lucifer on the recording of House For Sale and their own singer Anita Meyer in 1976 on her number 1 hit The Alternative Way. In 1978 the album ’Accompanied By The Rainbow Train’ was released and the single ’Heaven On Earth’ became a hit. This video was recorded and broadcast by TROS Top 50 Rockplanet on July 11, 1978.
