Nothing that comes from Buffalo NY is usual, I don’t know if it’s that I get together with the right people, or that the fact of being the most eastern city in the Midwest, can make us believe that everything that comes out of there is cool, of course taking into account that we live it from almost 5000 miles away, but what is certain is that not even a genre that may seem to us at some point so defined, sounds the same when it comes from Buffalo! A good example: The Hamiltones have the ability to be perfect for a vampire ball in Transylvania, or to be the most rogue band that could have ever performed in that pernicious Moss Eisley cantina on Tatooine, in fact their new album released on the perennial Swimming Faith Records and the always amazing Big Neck Records next March 8, is all that and much more, an authentic space odyssey in which the twang acquires an alien tone, and in which other elements that are not usually typical of the tag “Surf“ take unique relevance to show us that everything in bufallo has a special and space color...
