This Cockatoo Won’t Go To Bed

Onni the baby umbrella cockatoo likes to sit on his dads shoulder and nap before bedtime while we both watch tv in bed. Scott fell asleep so I went to take Onni to his bedroom, but this crazy baby had other ideas. He quickly lept into the arms of his daddy and tried his best to hide from me. He doesn’t understand that I can still see him when you can’t see me! ****You should never ever sleep with any bird. EVER. Results can be catastrophic and even fatal for the bird. In this case, I was in bed NEXT to them and watching tv with them as always. Onni sits on top of Scotts arm/shoulder and when its Onnis time for bed or when Scott falls asleep I take the baby to his own bedroom for his safety. Bird bones are filled with air sacs, meaning they are hollow and fragile. Even a flopping hand/arm can break their legs, wings, etc. So you can imagine if you roll the wrong way, even a little.
