Deep Sky Imaging: A Very Bright Nebula (NGC 7000)

The North America Nebula (NGC 7000) is a large emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. The shape of NGC 7000 resembles the continent of North America, complete with a prominent Gulf of Mexico. The nebula is around 1,800 light years from Earth. With the full moon still in effect, I used Optolong narrowband filters to help fend off light pollution and processed the North America Nebula in the Hubble Palette.
