#Giro #GirodItalia #TheRoute Biella – Canale, 190km. The first half is a flat stage, followed by an undulating second half. Up to Asti the course runs on fairly wide and straight roads in the plain. From Canelli it rolls on hilly roads with three categorized climbs featuring some challenging ascents. Past Alba, the short steep climb in Garene has a two-digit gradient. 5km remaining to the finish, the route has a testing final section with the Ochetti climb, it runs flat up to Canale, where in the last kilometre four wide bends lead into the slightly uphill home stretch on asphalt road. La tappa 3 ha due anime. La prima, dalla partenza di Biella fino ad Asti è pianeggiante, su ampie strade rettilinee. La seconda, tra Monferrato e Langhe, è mossa e collinare, con 3 GPM e il duro strappo di Guarene a 15 km dall’arrivo di Canale.
