Initially an Augustinian, he embraced the Franciscan order, dedicating his life to poverty, humility, and preaching. Known as the “Wonderworker,“ he miraculously found lost items, earning him widespread devotion. Anthony’s sermons captivated audiences, earning him the title “Evangelical Doctor.“ He died at 36, leaving a legacy of piety and compassion. Canonized within a year, Saint Anthony became one of the Catholic Church’s most beloved saints, celebrated for his intercessions and remembered annually on June 13th.
