There are four different ’official’ music videos for this song, with this one appearing to be the most popular due to be it being directed by legendary French director Michel Gondry. According to an interview with Gondry, film was used to give the music video a certain ’look’. This included the use of 1.4:1 as an aspect ratio and heavy grain.
