Equilibrium - Renegades & Blut im Auge (Vocal Cover Audition by Tim Strouken/Circus of Fools)

Dear people, these are my covers of Equilibrium’s Renegades and Blut im Auge for there auditions of the vacant singer position. My name is Tim Strouken, 33 years old and the singer of Alternative Metal band Circus of Fools for exactly 10 years. Equilibrium has been one of my favorite bands since their second album Sagas and I absolutely love the modern, darker sound of the newer albums interwoven with the folky tunes of old. I tried to give the two songs my own spin while still keeping some of the character and punch the original versions had. It was for me more about creating the right atmosphere and produced the vocals the same way I would have done when I had written those songs. We filtered out the old vocals of Blut im Auge with an AI (and used the instrumental of Renegades), so all the vocals provided are 100% mine. Vocals were recorded and produced by Vince Ebicht and Tim Strouken at Sawdust Recording Studio/Halle and mixed and mastered by Christoph Wieczorek, also at Sawdust Recording Studio/Halle. I hope you had fun listening to my interpretation and I am absolutely crushing my thumbs while hoping to fill this void in the near future, I consider myself the perfect fit!
