Random Jam #30 [lo-fi ambient hip-hop w/ Microcosm, Digitakt & Aeros Loop Studio]

Hologram Electronics sent over their new Microcosm pedal and I absolutely love it! It’s responsible for all the crazy/glitchy guitar sounds in this track. More info here : (Patch note below) The Digitakt provides most of the sounds : the drums, the bass and the FX/risers. It also plays the sansula samples in the intro, which are looped into the Aeros Loop Studio. The notes from the Keystep are processed by the ZOIA which spreads them across multiple MIDI channels, allowing me to play the Digitakt polyphonically. The Digitakt also sends clock to the Aeros looper as well as the Microcosm. The 0-Coast provides the bass. So the Microcosm is a pretty crazy little unit, it features multiple algorithms that rearrange your sound using delays, granular processing, pitch-shifting and other stuff. It’s wild!
