Peter Gregson – Cluster (Official Music Video)

‘Cluster’ from Peter Gregson’s new album ‘Patina’ out on September 10th. Listen to ’Patina’: Cluster was filmed in British Columbia over a month in late winter. Using a mechanical camera rig we were able to record the movements of the camera and repeat them later. With this technique we recorded camera movements at an industrial intersection in Vancouver, BC. We then replayed them in the vast natural interior of the province, from Squamish to Ashcroft. By extracting and layering these movements from the city with movements in nature, and in concert with Peters beautiful music, I tired to create a soft meditation on nature, urbanization, and the aesthetic found in both. Peter’s music seems to take all these elements from the creative process that other people ignore or disregard and brings them to the forefront in really exciting ways. We tried to honour that by focusing on the easily dismissed and finding it’s artistic potential. Credits: Mus
