Location unknown - possibly Scotland. Military. London Scottish Cross River. Group of Soldiers; in kilts coming ashore. Then shot of men swimming across river. Men in old-fashioned swimsuits on a boat they are moving with large poles. Pan on another boat crowded with soldiers; wearing life jackets. They get out of boat. But next; we see the boat full of them crossing the river. On the beach; a couple of the Scottish strip off all their clothes. Then a scene of the soldiers stretched out on the grass having a picnic; relaxation; etc (this is very nicely shot). Man passing around food. One man has a bottle of beer.
