NEW BMW M2! First Look at the Flagship 2 Series

This is the brand new BMW M2! The G87 Generation M car has arrived and we can explore it in full to take in all of the details. Now up to 460hp, with a choice of gearboxes including a manual, and another extrovert BMW design. Let’s tour it inside and out! Having driven a prototype a few months ago, I knew we would be in store for something special from the new M2, and now we have all of the details it’s looking to shape up very well. Sitting longer and wider than the predecessor, while also being lower, it certainly has the proportions although in typical BMW style there’s certainly a controversial design. Powered by the S65 from the new M3/M4, it’s up to 460hp as only the ’M2’ variant; no Competition here, yet at least. There’s a choice of the 8 speed automatic or 6 speed manual, and it also showcases the fully updated LCI interior for the 1/2 Series with the curved screens.
