THE FIRST SEDAN WIN!!!! | GLTC Race 4 | ’23 Midwest Festival

We finally did it! The Supertouring EG Civic Ferio’s first victory and the most meaningful of my racing career! Sitting in grid, I knew I had a shot at victory lane. Minimal rewards weight, the hybridracing Supertouring Civic’s setup was on point and I was starting 6th on the invert. I knew my main competitor would be Matt Waldbaum and boy did he prove me right lol! I had to be somewhat aggressive in the first few corners and a perfect opening just barely formed inside of turn 2. The OsGiken LSD just hooked up and pulled me ahead and within three corners, I gained three positions and proceeded to the lead shortly after. The rest of the race, Matt in the S2000 was on my ass and gave me zero breathing room. I had to drive fast, make zero mistakes, and be in the zone, that was until the caution came out. As much as I wanted the race to end under caution, I also wanted to battle it out and not get a freebie, I’m a damn Racer! Green, white, checkered and what a lap it was
