Protests continue after Venezuela’s presidential election | LiveNOW from FOX

It’s been one month since the Venezuelan presidential election. In that one month, President Nicolás Maduro and his representatives have allegedly tampered with election results and falsely claimed victory, thus further repressing the people of Venezuela. Venezuela, and countries across the world, have repeatedly called for proof of Maduro’s victory, but the National Electoral Council under Maduro’s power has failed to provide the original voter tally sheets as it has in past elections. As it stands, Maduro is expected to begin his next term in January 2025. Brian Fonseca, the Director of FIU’s Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy, joins LiveNOW from FOX.
