WIZZ - ’Get Fuzzed Up [Fast Fix Mix]’ (1999)

A breakbeat track used in a Levi’s TV ad campaign in 1999. ’Get Fuzzed Up’ samples the 1960s instrumental recording ’Background Blues’ by Austrian composer, arranger and conductor, Gerhard Narholz. The same music was also used in the ‘Spongebob Squarepants’ cartoon series! This came out on the Curveball label, whose roster chiefly consisted of indie rock bands like Midget and The Action Spectacular. #87 is where WIZZ peaked in late 1999.
