#2 AGOGO BELLS - BRAZILIAN RHYTHM LESSONS - HOW TO PLAY SAMBA BATUCADA OR IN A BAND.

Agogo bells are bells connected with a metal handle. Typically you see it with 2 bells, but you also can find with 3, 4 or even 5. Here you will learn a common pattern for Samba. You can use it in samba, or adapt it to other styles of music. Enjoy practicing and playing in a batucada or other type of band. /////// My name is Emiliano Benevides and I play all types of percussion. ///// I grew up listening to Brazilian music (samba, funk, rock, pagodes, punk) like Bezerra da Silva, Zeca Pagodinho, Secos e Molhados, Clube da Esquina, Titãs, Chico Buarque, Sambas Schools, Ratos de Porão, Banda Black Rio, Uakti... and also international artists like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Bauhaus, Tom Waits, Nick Cave to name some. Some of my own projects and bands are: RIPE, Bat Makumba and right now I live in Switzerland and I am playing with Custard Pie, a Power Funk band from France.
