Satin Jackets & Panama - The Future

Releasedate Stream / Download here: Some might say the future looks bleak, but it doesn’t in the world of Tim Bernhardt. Better known as Satin Jackets, he manages to see a light at the end of the tunnel with his new single “The Future” - created together with the Australian veteran collaborator Panama. As we stumble into a new year, Tim manages to move forward with a song that washes over you like warm, rolling waves, cascading again and again. “The Future” conveys a sense of comfort and hope, while its subconscious repetition provides the pulse that makes you feel alive. As Panama sings: “There in my heart, in the future”, there is no doubt that what is coming may be uncertain, but Satin Jackets is here to tell you that it will be alright. Wherever you might be listening to “The Future” - be it at a beach club, on a mountain top, or at a rooftop bar - Tim’s ability to make you feel in the right moment, at the right place is at play once more. “The Future” is the first song to be released on Tim’s own independent imprint “Golden Hour”. It’s a symbolic title for a song predicting what’s coming. Lyrics When you lie Here alone, The lying is lonely, Looking out, Looking up, Now that the falling is lonely, Going the wrong way, I love you but, Want you to know, God i love you but,  I’ve got no control, No no don’t get me wrong, There in my heart, There in my heart,  In the future,  There in my heart, You’e there in my heart,  In the future There in my heart, There in my heart,  In the future,  There in my heart, You’e there  Hanging out let me up, Where the water is blue now, Looking down down below, It’s like I’m falling slowly, Going the wrong way, I love you but, Want you to know, God i love you but,  I’ve got no control, No no don’t get me wrong, There in my heart, There in my heart,  In the future,  There in my heart, You’e there in my heart,  In the future, There in my heart, There in my heart, In the future, There in my heart, You’e there, In the future Written by Tim Bernhardt and Jarrah McCleary Published by Paperclip Publishing AS administered by Kobalt Music Services Limited, Juanco Music (BMI) and Future Classic Publishing Pty
