Full title reads: “’London’s Smartest Firemen’ ... and that’s saying something! Headquarters win motor pump competition final - doing all you see in 1 min. 20 4/5 secs.“ London. Men of the LFB (London Fire Brigade) leap from their Leyland fire engine and begin to attach hoses to the back of the tender. They are participating in a competition. Firemen run across the yard with their hoses and use the water sprays to knock over targets. The hoses are then rolled up - accompanied by much cheering. A whistle is blown when the last man leaps back on the fire engine. A representative of the LCC (London County Council) makes a short speech and presents the trophy to the team from Headquarters.
