Russia and China conduct Joint Air Patrol over Sea of Japan

The Russian and Chinese Defense Ministries have released footage of a joint patrol conducted by their respective air forces on Thursday. The patrol, the seventh so far, saw bombers and fighters such as Russia’s Tupolev-95 and Sukhoi-35, as well as China’s Hong-6K fly over the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea. The patrol is the latest in a series of military cooperations following a summit in March when Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to conduct regular joint patrols and military exercises
