Marcelle & Marcel Transcription

Here’s a transcription I did of Mick Kinsella’s version of JJ Milteau’s Marcelle & Marcel. It’s a favorite among my students. Mick adds a lovely melodic solo to the original tune. There’s a couple of overbends in there which he uses for some added chromaticism but you can still ghost your way through them if you’re not comfortable with overblows. This track comes from Mick’s debut album ’Harmonica’. As of the moment it’s out of print but you can still catch many fine live performances here on YouTube.
