Jonas Kaufmann Role debut as Tannhuser/Easter Festival Salzburg

Jonas Kaufmann give his role debut as “Tannhäuser“ by Richard Wagner at the 2023 Easter Festival in his new home in Salzburg, conducted by Andris Nelsons in a production by Romeo Castellucci. At his side sings the British soprano, who stepped in as “Venus“ for the star singer Elina Garanca, who was ill. The premiere is on April 1st.
