Alan Dale - That’s A Teenage Girl (1961)

B-side of “Monday to Sunday“, released as a single in May 1961. Alan’s biggest hits were “Sweet and Gentle“ and “Cherry Pink (and Apple Blossom White)“ in 1955. This single was one of Alan’s attempts at a comeback hit. An article published in Billboard read: ““The new Sinclair record label has signed Alan Dale to a contract which the company says will present the veteran singer with a “new sound.“ First single to appear by Dale under the Sinclair banner has him singing “Monday to Sunday“ and “That’s a Teen-Age Girl“. A small ad appeared in the same edition of Billboard and “Monday to Sunday“ managed to bubble under the Billboard Hot 100 at #101. Written by B. Goldman, Vince Catalano and Alan Dale.
