Another phenomenal movie by Bong Joon-ho. This one might have had the biggest twist I’ve seen yet from him. Kim Hye-ja absolutely killed it. The final breakdown she had after meeting JP, knowing he was innocent, but allowing him to take the blame, was powerful. As a mother, her instinct will always be to protect her child, even at the cost of her own humanity.
