Her secretary abruptly quits just as salesman Tom Sheridan (David Manners) happens to come to her office to try and hawk his goods. Desperate for assistance, Lois impulsively hires Tom. While Fred continues his philandering ways with Ann Le Maire (Claire Dodd), a romance blossoms between Tom and Lois. But Tom’s fiancée (Una Merkel) grows suspicious of his bond with Lois, and wants Tom to quit. Lois won’t give Tom up without a fight, though.
