Orca Ocean - S01E07 - Loro Parque LIFE

Today we share with you the “Live“ session that we did on Monday through our Facebook page, in which we accompanied Rafael Zamora, Scientific Director of Loro Parque Fundación, while he visits a daily training session at Orca Ocean. The importance of these sessions consists in the fact that, thanks to them, we obtain different measurements that indicate the level of wellbeing of our orcas, as well as allow us to learn so much better the natural dynamics of these animals and their behaviour. At the same time we can collect important scientific data that will be used to save different species of cetaceans and that will give us the opportunity to be more and better prepared for situations that may arise in the ocean such as strandings, phenomena that, unfortunately, become more and more common all over the world.
