🇷🇺 UAC has resumed the Il-114 test program, the second copy of the aircraft made its first flight, Rostec reported. “The first flight took place normally at altitudes of up to 900 m and at speeds of up to 230 km/h. The systems and equipment functioned properly, the program was completed in full. Before the start of the flights, the vehicle completed a cycle of ground tests: workshop and airfield tests were carried out. Also in Taxiing and high-speed runs were performed as part of the flight test program. The new Il-114-300 has improved flight performance, increased the use of composite materials, improved almost all the main systems, special attention has been paid to improving the ergonomics of the cockpit, and a new digital flight navigation system has been installed,” the statement says.
