As a lover of film soundtracks, & a huge fan of 1970s Hong Kong martial arts movies, I find there is a very interesting relationship between the two. Hardly any Hong Kong martial arts films of the 70s had original scores. Instead, they shamelessly stole existing music (in the majority of cases, no royalties were paid & artists were not credited).
