The Riders - Something For The Boys & Girls (1932)

“Is there a boy or girl with soul so dead, Who never to him (her) self has said.... “I’d love a pony or a horse!“ M/S of a group of youngsters riding ponies in a field - either a riding lesson or gymkhana. M/S of the young riders jumping a fence. “The five-year-old!“ Small child stands on the back of a large horse. The toddler then sits on the back of the horse as it walks around in a circle tying its front legs in a knot - weird! The tot then makes the horse kneel down. “But, when they bring out the Pushball, what a game!“ The youngsters play a game with a large ball as they ride around on their horses. Doesn’t look like much fun for the gee gees. High angle shot of the game. The ball is about 8ft tall. Was an item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 569. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
