My great friend and co-star Kyndal Robertson thought that since I was such a great guy, it was only fitting that she put me in the Friend Zone to make sure I remain that way. I wanted to write a song about it to show her how much I appreciated her kind gesture. (sarcasm) I originally intended this to be a companion piece to another unreleased video that I was working on at the time. I wanted the song to have a catchy tune so I chose to parody Michael Jackson’s Thriller. The entire video itself was originally going to be a 30 second skit centered around the dancing segment and included within another project but anyone that knows me well knows that elaborate is the only way I know how to do things. The video evolved over time and before you know it I had a full blown parody in the works. We started production on the video in September 2012 and wrapped the shooting at the end of November 2012.
