15 dead and dozens injured after gunman opens fire at Prague university shooting at fleeing crowds

At least 15 people have been killed and 30 injured after a gunman opened fire at a university in Prague. Panicked crowds were seen fleeing for their lives with their hands in the air during the shooting at Charles University in the Czech capital. Czech police said the shooting took place shortly after 3pm (2pm GMT) when a lone gunmen killed 15 people at the Faculty of Arts building in Jan Palach Square. Another 30 were injured, 11 of which were seriously wounded. Police also stated that the shooter’s body has been found in the area. Footage from the attack showed terrified staff and students barricaded themselves inside their classrooms with piles of chairs and tables.
