Putin on Russia’s position on LGBT

Though Russia banned the LGBT movement as an extremist organisation in 2023, Vladimir Putin stated that individuals of non-traditional sexual orientations face no restrictions here. The President emphasized this during the plenary session of the fourth annual forum ’Strong Ideas for a New Time’. Putin underscored Russia’s emphasis on traditional values, while clarifying that the country is not suppressing the LGBT community.
