Easy Pinecone Gnomes Using Homemade Paper Clay DIY Christmas Craft Idea

What will you make with pinecone? This super cute gnomes could be one of Christmas craft ideas you want to make with your family. Gosh, look at their shoelaces. Aren’t they adorable? It would be nice for gift, selling, or Christmas decoration. And, it is easy to make. What we need are pinecones (I picked up mine from beach area nearby home in Melbourne, Australia), paper clay, paper waste, some tissue paper, masking tapes, a little bit of wire for the legs, hot glue, and acrylic paints. Simple and affordable, right? In this project I share my steps to make the gnome’s hat with paper waste instead of aluminum foil. If you are new in this clay craft, the foil would be easier for you. Anyway, it’s your choice. I use Clayitnow’s homemade paper clay recipe without glue using newspaper pulps that I’ve made in bulk few weeks ago.
