No Man’s Sky DLSS Support Deep Learning Super Sampling allows for dramatically improved framerate at high resolution. A neural network trained on ultra-high resolution images is used to upscale lower resolution imagery at run time, resulting in up to double the framerate. Presented as a form of anti-aliasing, rendering is upscaled to 4K without image quality loss. On RTX graphics cards, high resolution imagery is possible at the highest possible framerates, including in virtual reality.
