Advancing with Watercolor: Christopher Columbus Park - Composing and Center of Interest

This is part one of a muti-part series which focuses on painting in the field - en plein air - and developing the sketch or study back in the studio. I feel it is very important for the artist to work from life on a regular basis. The paintings are not always what you hope but the experience yields an important knowledge of light , form and color.
