Festival Pottery (1951)

Festival Pottery at West Wickham M/S Girl (Marion Hill) at bench, modelling pottery. C/U Girl pressing out face of model in mould. C/U Girl worker. C/U Pressing out another face in mould, she picks up two legs and fits together in crossed positions. M/S Girl sticking other parts on model. C/U Making model. Girl puts small rabbit on one side of ornament and elf’s head on other. In between are legs and skirt of unfinished model. M/S Girl puts glue on model, ready to stick on another part of body. C/U Sticking head and shoulders on to skirt. M/S and C/U Mrs Peggy Foy dipping models into solution (white alabaster?). M/S Bench, girl takes tray of models out of picture. M/S She puts tray down in front of oven and starts to put models inside kiln. C/U Models being put into oven, doors are then shut. C/U Model flower seller being painted by Joyce Bryan.
