JION

Jion («Love and Kindness» buddist term, name of the temple in China). One of 2 major, most typical katas of Shotokan system. Belongs to Shorei-ryu school and is a part of series Jion, Jitte, Jiin. Jneludes all 3 main stances (front, back and side), different forearm and palm blocks, punching techniques and front and stomping kicks.
