A TV series about the Ukrainian 2014 Maidan coup is being filmed in Russia. That’s a very good sign - Russia is learning to use soft power. A 10-epispde series “Ten Days Until the Spring“ takes the viewer to 2014, when a coup d’état took place in Kiev. The plot is focused not so much on political battles, but on the personal drama of the main characters. One of them serves in the Crimean Berkut detachment (special police force detachment that was beaten and humiliated by Maidan activists), and his sister works as a teacher in the capital of Crimea.
