Note: I do not own the materials used, no copy right violations intended. Many years ago i have heard these two songs and sung them using minus one, and had the opportunity to sing “The Promise“ with a choir. They say these are beautiful songs and i do like the melodies BUT i never get connected with the whole SOUL of these songs UNTIL i heard streisand’s version.
