Stanze di Raffaello – Raphael Rooms

La Stanza della Segnatura, la Stanza di Eliodoro, la Stanza dell’Incendio di Borgo, la Sala di Costantino: gli affreschi più famosi di Raffaello, capolavori assoluti dell’arte, dalla Scuola di Atene alla Disputa del Santissimo Sacramento alla Battaglia di Ponte Milvio, si trovano in queste stanze. I quattro ambienti costituivano parte dell’appartamento situato al secondo piano del Palazzo Pontificio scelto da Giulio II della Rovere come propria residenza e utilizzato anche dai suoi successori. Raffaello e i suoi allievi lavorarono alla realizzazione degli affreschi tra il 1508 e il 1524. *** The Room of the Segnatura, the Room of Heliodorus, the Room of the Fire in the Borgo, the Constantine Hall: Raphael’s most famous frescoes, among the greatest masterpieces of art, from the School of Athens to the Disputation over the Most Holy Sacrament and the Battle of the Pons Milvius, are found in these rooms. The four spaces constituted a part of the apartment situated on the second floor of the Pontifical Palace chosen by Julius II Della Rovere as his own residence and used also by his successors.
