Claude King - The Comancheros (Original Mono 45)

In 1962, Claude King’s name became known worldwide, thanks to his smash international hit, “Wolverton Mountain“. Six months before that, however, Claude was showing the promise of things to come, with this wonderful track, inspired by the John Wayne movie of the same name. In many ways, I actually prefer this track to “Wolverton Mountain“. It was released in Australia in 1961 on a CBS Coronet 45, KS490.
