The Ratha or the Chariots of Trinity is prepared every year for Mahaprabhu. Marking the beginning of preparation for annual Rath Jatra of Lord Jagannath, the construction of three gigantic chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra started with ‘Ratha Anukula’, that marks the beginning of chariot construction process, on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. This is made by dedicated sevayats called Maharana & this tradition continues since ages at Sri Mandir
