The year was 1993 and I walked by that Disc many times while shopping for 12 inch House Cuts at Record Time Music Store, right outside of Detroit. This day however, I remember picking up the CD “Emergency on Planet Earth“ and being struck by the title and the cover, which was plain Black & White, but I could see through the side of the jewel case and see they had major Color and some Cool Art work on the inside. (I was intrigued) Mind you I still hadn’t heard One Note from the album! :-) Well I took a chance that day and I was so glad I did. Jamiroquai’s sound was so Jazzy Funky and just different. I was hooked... My favorite tune on that first album: “Too Young To Die“ leads off this Mix and “Lifeline“ from their last official release: “Rock Dust Light Star“ concludes the set. I’
