Matt Gaetz Calls McCarthy A “Liar” & Pledges To Oust House Speaker!

A government shutdown was averted — for 45 days at least — when House Speaker Kevin McCarthy worked out a deal on a continuing resolution to fund the government but punt on the questions of border security and Ukraine. But Freedom Caucus member Matt Gaetz says that the agreement, along with other moves from the “liar” McCarthy violate an agreement the Speaker made back in January with Gaetz and others. And now Gaetz says he’s going to exact his revenge by calling for a vote to take the Speaker’s gavel away from McCarthy.
