Hello my friends! Lately a lot of people asked me how to make a chape for a scabbard. In this video I’ll uncover all the secrets of making a chape at your own workshop with a bunch of simple tools. The best material for beginning is either copper or brass. It should be 1,5 - 2 milimeters thick. But remember. Before you’ll start to make your own chape, you need to put the metal in heat and then submerge it in water.
