I chose to rewrite Demi’s version from the Frozen credits rather than Elsa’s/Idina’s version, though - I felt the pop-rock sound would be a good place to start/would suit Isabela, considering the fact that “What Else Can I Do?“ already sounds SO modern and pop-y in comparison to Idina’s “Let It Go.“ STORY CONTEXT: I wrote the line “All dressed in white, what a beautiful sight“ and just couldn’t scratch it, so I decided to come up with a scene in an AU version of the story in which Mariano’s proposal went as planned and Abuela wishes Isabela to wear her own wedding dress.
