After days of dramatic back-and-forth, the Australian Open is getting underway without defending mens’ champion, Novak Djokovic. The tennis star has been deported from Australia after losing his last appeal to stay in the country. Eric Sorensen has more on the final ruling and reaction to it. It can be challenging to get a COVID-19 PCR test in Canada, even for those with symptoms. That has added fuel to a debate over the test’s value for asymptomatic travelers returning to the country.
