The Lovers AMV (Milk of the Siren)

Hello, it’s been a while, but I’m back with another ’The Lovers’ AMV, this time to the song Milk of the Siren by Melanie Martinez! I wasn’t too satisfied with my Lucid one, so I decided to try something new with my current favorite song, which I felt quite fit well with the trailer. The reason I found “Milk of the Siren“ to be fitting for The Lovers is because, as stated in Studio Heartbreak’s Instagram, “Sirena is a cunning siren, an apex predator armed with psychedelic venom, sharp spines, and an even sharper mind.“ This has led me to believe that the events of The Lovers are a result of Sirena trying to escape from being killed (by “drowning the sailors“ so to speak) by poising them with her venomous spines, possibly causing Sara to spiral (as it’s psychedelic venom). At least this is what I think, I could be totally wrong because the film is not out yet, but that’s how I interpreted it. One more thing: the PowerDirector app for Android phones is THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! This edit took me a whole day and a half because this editing application is soooo stubborn, and I could NOT get the timing right for the life of me. This caused me to have to upload and re-upload and re-upload all day until I was satisfied. Anyway, I do NOT recommend PowerDirector (at least for phones, lol).
