John Lennon has left a lasting legacy since his murder in 1980 despite books such as “The Lives of John Lennon“ attempting to tarnish his reputation. The poster’s opinion is the latter should’ve been subtitled “The Li(v)es of Albert Goldman“. Attempting to tarnish the reputation of someone who made a difference isn’t something Goldman should think he “got away“ with. John on the other hand, embodied family values and gave up his life attempting to make the world a better place to live, something Goldman would be unable to claim where his book made only his world a better place while dumping on everyone else. Goldman went to his “reward“ in 1994. Imagine he and John would share the same space? Not bloody likely.
