Ritt am Morgen or also known as “Feindwärts knattert die Fahne“ is one of the German Freikorps songs used during the Freikorps time in the German Revolution of 1918 and probably the Interwar in Germany. Nothing is known about the background of the music’s history, but we all know that the lyrics itself mostly came from the Freikorps time. This version is presumably made by Elbert Hasselmann
